Running into issues with Forza Horizon 4 haven't had issues previously but been months since I last played. The game is randomly crashing to desktop at certain times. Event Viewer provides this generic error code. Faulting application name: ForzaHorizon4. Faulting module name: ForzaHorizon4. Faulting package full name: Microsoft. I've 'reset' the application in Windows. I don't think it's a graphics driver issue but as I think Event Viewer would detect that.

I've followed your steps with exception to the Xbox app and Game Services app. My computer didn't have these installed, so I downloaded from the Microsoft Store. I also reinstalled Windows 10 and still the game is crashing. I've been playing this game for over a year, then stopped or 6 months. But now it's crashing after a varying amount of gameplay. That has not worked.

Uninstalled, downloaded the 92Gb and then installed and within 1 min of gameplay driving it has crashed. I left the settings at their recommended default. This is getting very frustrating.
